Child Care

Before and After School Program

The City of Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department will begin registration for the 2023-2024 Before and After School Program on Wednesday, June 14th. Registration will be open to City Residents first until Wednesday, June 21st. Starting Thursday, June 22nd registration will be open to City Residents and Non-Residents. October Day Camp - October 16, 2023

Thanksgiving Break Camp - November 20th - 22nd, 2023

Winter Break Camp - December 27th - 29th, 2023. January 2nd-5th, 2024. January 8th, 2024

President's Day Camp - February 19th, 2024 

Spring Break Camp - March 15th-22nd, 2024

Summer Camp Program

Summer Camp will operate Monday, June 3 Through Friday, August 9, 2024. The program is held at the Jim Beech Recreation Center. Summer Camp is for children 6 to 12 years of age. Registration will open to City Residents and currently enrolled starting on January 8, 2024. Open enrollment for Non-Residents will begin on January 22, 2024, and run until March 2, 2024, or until full. Sports

Ocoee Youth Basketball League

The Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department will start registration from March 18, 2024, through May 3, 2024, for our Youth Basketball Summer Season.  To register please use the link provided here. The season will begin on Saturday, June 8, 2024, and will run until Saturday, July 20, 2024. Midnight Basketball

The City of Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department will offer Midnight Night Basketball for ages 12-18. New Dates to Be Announced. For more information, please contact Tracy Wise-Donahey or call the Parks and Recreation Department at 407-905-3180.

Girls Volleyball League

The City of Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department will have a Youth Girls Volleyball League. New Season Starts March 18, 2024. The League will be for girls ages 8-16. Registration begins January 6th, 2024- February 15th. Register here. Late Night Youth Volleyball

Autism Gym Program

This program runs on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Jim Beech Recreation Center.

It is open to all ages and disabilities. Any family member is welcome. It is an open gym night so the kids of all ages can run, jump and play while the parents talk and relax. We have an annual holiday party, outings, a teen/social group, swimming lessons, fundraisers, Special Moms Of Outstanding Children with Handicaps (SMOOCH), and a special day out for our top moms including a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure and lunch. We are growing and the program is definitely needed! For more info check out our Autism Gym website.

Independent Youth Organizations

Independent youth sports organizations provide a wide range of sports programs like baseball, football, soccer, and cheerleading. Independent organizations within the community that organize youth sports programs for Ocoee residents are listed below. Please contact the organization for more information regarding registrations and try-outs.

Karate

(Isshinryu Budo Kai) 

Isshinryu Budo Kai Karate was founded in 1956 and has been taught ever since to American Marines in Okinawa Japan. Students are taught at their own rate of learning capabilities. Students develop self confidence, discipline, mutual respect and physical fitness through various methods of training. Our dojo has been affiliated with the Ocoee Recreation Department for over 35 years with current black belts that have been here since its beginning. Students must be a minimum of 6 years old or older. Classes are held year round at 6:30pm on Tuesday & Thursday nights at the Tom Ison Seniors and Veterans Center.
